Custom made to order in our little London workshop with the same care we’ve been giving to human upholstery projects for the last 27 yrs.
FREE fabric for you, less trade waste for us!
We use remnants from the human upholstery to make most of our dog beds.
Please grab a bit of paper.
The detailed custom thing means ordering online isn’t an option, so please read on, make some notes about your dog’s preferences ( and yours, I suppose) and chat to us when you’re ready.
PRICES -
- No Online ordering ( too much room for error), we simply send a secure e-
invoice when you’re happy with everything. - Lead time ( hahaha ) is usually about two weeks.
- If you’d be using our free remnants, or sending your own fabric, the calculator (see below) will give you a rough price for your doggy bed before you contact us
- Treat the calculator price as a max. A human with a pencil can probably get it down a bit for you!
- To use the calculator, just choose how big you want the floor area of the bed to be, and how thick the mattress, don’t worry about the height of the sides.
- Enter the measurements in the calculator, and click the button for “simple mattress”, or “full bed” (with sides, if you see what we mean.)
Dog Bed Fabrics
Dogs mostly don’t care if their beds look like piles of dirty laundry, but, to pacify their humans, we offer an impressive choice of fine fabrics.
- Upholstery fabric overstock. Durable, washable & FREE!
- Upholstery fabrics from the roll. Durable, washable, any colour under the sun ( but not free)
- Technical fabrics. Waterproof, “chew proof”, extra high tensile strength etc.
- Hypoallergenic 100% cotton.
- You even can send us our own fabrics -
pre- loved fabric is fine!

Dog Bed Mattress Fillings
Your dog probably doesn’t give a woof about what colour his or her bed is, but cares a lot about whether their mattress has just the right amount of stretch-
- Upholstery foam -
3 grades - Orthopaedic foam laminates -
2 types - Memory foam
- Polyester hollow fill fibre, new or recycled.
- “Stuffkin”
Mattress fillings can get bit technical, please feel free to talk to us about them.
(Beware, we can nerd on a bit about fillings.)
Dog Bed Styles
Dogs and their humans agree that style of dog bed is Very Important. These are our most popular styles, popular with dogs because they provide superior comfort and a reassuring space of their very own, and popular with humans because they look good, wash well, and are super durable. ( And because their furry friends enjoy them, of course.)
- Blocky Beds like Jack’s, (above) with a low bolster surrounding a rectangular mattress. Great if your doggy likes to lie in bed and watch what’s going on while resting their chin.
